Victoria’s secret: look at city from dog’s point of view

When living in a dense urban environment like New York City with a small dog, Victoria Stilwell, internationally recognized and respected for her effective, dog friendly methods, emphasizes the importance of considering your dog’s point of view, literally.

When I spoke with her at the NYC Pet Show about how training little dogs in New York City differs from other venues, Ms. Stilwell observed “. . .  for small dogs in New York, it is a big world out there, with lots of foot and vehicle traffic, noises and smells – all very intense stimulation when one is 8” high.
